LD Capital, Antalpha Ventures, and Highblock Announced the Launch of Hong Kong’s First $1 Billion HKD ETF Liquidity Fund
LD Capital, Antalpha Ventures, and Highblock have jointly established Hong Kong’s first ETF liquidity fund, valued at $1 billion HKD (~128M USD). The fund is designed to provide market-making services to Hong Kong ETFs, aimed at enhancing liquidity, improving the efficiency of capital flows, and reducing the risks associated with liquidity fluctuations and transactional volatility.
LD Capital is a digital asset fund with a focus on primary and secondary blockchain investments, with over 300 blockchain enterprises in its portfolio. Antalpha Ventures, a financial services platform affiliated with Bitmain, one of the leading manufacturers of digital asset mining hardware, contributes substantial industry expertise. Highblock Limited, established by former executives from major international digital asset trading platforms, has more than ten years of experience in blockchain quantitative trading. The company is licensed for digital asset quantitative trading in Hong Kong and provides quantitative trading and investment portfolio management services in the digital asset sector.
The Hong Kong ETFs, approved by the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission, include six funds: ChinaAMC, Harvest Global, and Bosera International’s Bitcoin spot ETF and Ethereum spot ETF. These ETFs were launched on April 30th and amassed a trading volume of nearly $100 million HKD on their debut day, totaling $99.4 million HKD.
This strategic initiative marks a significant step forward in enhancing the financial infrastructure of Hong Kong’s ETF market, promising to bolster investor confidence and market stability.
