LD Capital reached the strategic partnership with HFT company VRM and its BlackOcean business

LD Capital announced that they have reached the strategic partnership with high-frequency trading company VRM, will help to expand the global ecosystem especially for VRM’s dark pool and liquidity business platform — BlackOcean.

VRM is a digitalcurrency trading institution in EU mainly based on quantitative high-frequency strategies. Its businesses include: VRM Quant, VRM Research, BlackOcean, VRM Capital Management and VRM Mining; the market shares on major trading platforms are ranging from 6.9%-49%. The average daily trading volume in 2020 was more than US$2.7 billion, and a single-day trading peak of US$10.8 billion was set at the end of the year.

BlackOcean provides liquidity pool and dark pool services for institutional users and market makers, the platform will be officially launched in Q1 this year, then integrated mainstream digitalcurrencies continuously to provide users with a more reliable and excellent service experience; Previously VRM has reached partnerships with StillWater Research, a quantitative trading company; and Cactus Custody — Matrixport’s custody platform on their BlackOcean business.
